I just got myself a new tripod and a ND filter, and all of a sudden I'm into landscape photography.

Nice pic and it appears you like it. Astrophotography was tugging @ me but I drank a few beers for strength and resisted. Maybe when I have more money.

The last weeks challenge started something in me, I am going to try different movement pics
Already done the kite surfers and the long exposure of a slow moving crowd at night the train coming to station
Next nice day I want to try the nd filter in a town high st to get the ghost people image

Here's a slightly different framing, and this time in color. I also left the oceans beauty mark, or a buoy as some might call it, untouched.

Very nice. Must say I like the color version better.

Personally I liked the black and white version better yesterday. Today I like the color version.

As a print on the wall, I still think the black and white would do better as the color version will be to much. As an eye catcher on screen, strong colors usually wins.

Both very nice shots. Simple but effective. I really like how the sky colour echos in the water

I like the color version better but I would remove that distracting buoy so the pier leads the eye right into the frame.
