Anversy Event...

So I got my first photography gig!! :hail:

So, I am using a Cannon Digital PowerShot A620 7.1MP

So their will be about 40 - 50 guest at the event.

Are their any tips or any suggestions I should know do's and dont's as this is my first gig...

They are paying me $100 for about 3 hours... They are kinda using me but it's easy money...

If you're just using a point and shoot, I suggest pointing and shooting. What kind of lighting will you have?

I will have florescent light.

You will need to use flash or try your Flourescent White Blance setting if the room is bright enough. Most like you will need flash though. Or you can bump up you ISO in any of the Manual Modes. You might try Aperture Priority with the camera set to the lowest number or wide open. JUst try some quick test shots before the event if possible.
