Hey all, I generally run Photoshop (5.5 on my old laptop, 8.1 in my newer computer). My middle aged computer has now switched to Linux (Xandros desktop OS), which I like, except for the fact that I have to pay $80 to get the Code Weavers (Windows compatibility which would allow me to use photoshop 5.5 or better). BUT, Xandros comes with GIMP, which is an open source (free) graphics program. Does anybody know of a good tutorial on this program? It looks fairly powerful, but does anybodh here have experience using it to recommend/diss it? I'm not planning on turning away from Photoshop, but it would be nice to have the capability to doctor images in my Linux system without having to go to another computer...
