Any suggestions?

Hi! I'm new to photography and was wondering if anyone can give me any suggestions on a decent camera....I have a Canon Powershot S2-IS and want to upgrade but can only afford $400 at the most....I'm not expecting to buy anything new but was hoping i could find one that will last me awhile...any suggestions would be appreciated! thanks

keh.com Great place to start. Nikon d40 is a good starter camera and you can get it for around $270.00

Lenses are expensive, even used.
