Anyone ever use a Canon D10?

I'm looking at point and shoot digital cameras for my daughter (4th birthday gift). She can use my Nikon L18 and has a kid tough camera, but the nikon isn't butterfinger friendly and the Fisher Price one sucks.

She doesn't drop them excessively just normal.

Is it really as butterfinger friendly as they say it is?
