Anyone Ever Use An ExpoDisc?

In a junk store the other day, and found one of these ExpoDisc 2.0 - Professional White Balance Filter for about the cost of Big Mac. Since I'm still on my diet, I figured what the heck. So the question now is was it a smart purchase or should I have saved the money for the Big Mac? Any one ever use one?? The good, the bad and the ugly???

I've used one. Handy in mixed lighting.

I have one; I find I don't use it all that much. Setting a custom WB is just enough extra work that I tend to use my Colour Checker Passport instead, as it's much quicker when lighting conditions change; shoot that and correct in post.

Found one in a thrift store a while back. Cheap too. Passed on it because I wasn't sure what it was.....And didn't have a clue of what I was doing back then. Maybe should have nabbed it.

The good thing is you didn't spend much. I'm really interested in your take on it. Let us know.

I bought it knowing what it was but not actually knowing how it worked. I'll try it out but after reading the instructions I'm leaning toward Tirediron's take. Setting a custom white balance in camera every time the light changes is a PITA.
