What's new

Anyone feel like ripping this one up?

the only things that bother me are the glare spots, the blown out sun is brighttttt, and the table is a bit distracting. adorable baby btw

Background is too busy. And includes the sun.... so the flare is a result.

Subject off-center, and would probably be better taken in portrait orientation.

Not a professional opinion,
but maybe a tad over-exposed? (as far as the sun goes)

LOL that kid has a very Hitchcockian (Alfred) expression. I love it. Yes the flare from the sun and the over exposure does detract from the shot but the kid really makes up for it. Keep shooting.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That expression is the driving force of this picture. Its such a natural shot. I like it.
The only thing its missing is a caption.
Focus is good.
Back lit, aliitle overexposed, blown out but not bad to me.
Too bad left hand was clipped.
Cute shot.

So sorry for vamping out on this thread! The stomach bug hit our house this weekend. Eek! Anyhow, Thanks SO much for the sweet words about my Diddle. He is a funny, funny fella. I was actually playing around trying to figure out lens flare and how to capture rays. This is just a snapshot I got that cracked me up. I know some people add in lens flare in pp, but then most here said it was too distracting and not something desired. I just wondered if there was a time when it was desired or if I should always avoid lens flare.

Oh and I totally agree with the Hitchcock comparison here. lmao

I really appreciate all the C&C. Thanks again, guys!

I totally love this shot, keep it. I think the overexposed background and the flare add a little something to the shot. the expression is priceless and the bright colors are awesome, the focus is on the spot, i love how you framed/cropped it, table is not a "distraction", some people on here get distracted too easily...lol....IMO this is one of the nicest baby picture i've seen here along with the daddy riding a baby in a grocery store!!
