Aperture priority vs. shutter priority

I spend / spent a lot of time on manual mode getting an idea for what different aperture settings will do AMD different shutter settings. All in a vain attempt to learn what I'm supposed to do.

When you understand those, start using the aperture and shutter setting as the tools they were designed to be.
