April Fools Sunrise - C&C

Been hanging around and stalking but haven't posted much.

I've been wanting to get some sunrise pictures and was able to this morning. I cropped it a few different ways and just preferred the original. I would have liked to see the rocks in the bottom left a bit more exposed, but couldn't figure out how to do that in the camera without over exposing the sky.

If there had been some detail then it would have but the way the shot is now makes it look like a deliberate silhouette with beautiful colours

Excellent shot. As mentioned the foreground is alittle dark but in no way hurts the pic. The dock is in a perfect place in the shot and the colors are great!

Very nice shot and the dark foreground works, to get a little brighter foreground and not blowing out the sky you could try a graduated ND filter.
