Are all reflectors made equal?

...is there a preference for brand and are some better than others? I am in need of a reflector...please refer some brands with reasonably moderate prices for consideration...thanks!

I would suggest heading to the Adorama web site, and looking in their lighting section, under reflectors. They have 18 pages of items. Low-priced brands include Flashpoint and JTL and Interfit. Moderately priced brands include Lastolite and Photoflex and Westcott--and all three of those are very good products. At the higher end would be Matthews and Scrim Jim brands.

Thanks Derrel...I'll do that. I see tons on ebay for dirt cheap but with no brand attached to them, I feel they might be just that...dirt. Haha. I'm thinking that Westcott 40in 5 in 1 reflector.

Price is pretty much indicative of durability. Low priced stuff won't last as long.
