Are crossed fingers bad?

while I don't think it is distracting in this picture, crossed fingers can be bad in some settings or depending on the peoples hands. A tutorial video I once saw said it best "You don't want to have little sausages in your shot" That stuck with me.

He looks natural and the lighting on the hands fall off so it is natural looking. Wrinkles are a problem that you just have to be aware of. nice portrait though.
