Do the reflections on the bottle bother? I hate seeing my monolights and flashes in reflections in my images. I was debating if I should just black out the bottle as a whole, or leave it in. A friend told me they reminded her of people looking at the bottle in the background, but I think she was high.

Glass and shiny is tough.

I remember on eBay, there was a guy selling a shiny stainless steel tea kettle, it was apparent he took the product photo nekkid.

There is a VERY good book with an entire section on shooting an lighting glass, if you're interested.
