Couple more from Germany:

1. Not a fan of the oof foreground elements, but I shoved my camera into the field, so I guess it was bound to happen.

2. I like the overall scene and feeling it portrays. Caught all of the elements imo, the windmills, field, beautiful sky.

3. I know people hate flair, but I REALLY like this shot. I like the colors in the flair matching the colors in the houses in the background. Might be hated by most, if not all here, but I really like it.

4. I wanted a shot to portray the actual height of these things, they were amazing in person.

None of them load, but i love the title. Subtle sarcasm in there i think?

1) I'm not a fan. Mainly because of the foreground objects shoved right up against the lens. Not really a great composition. Horizon is smack dab in the middle of the frame. Would be more interesting with more sky or ground.

2) Better than #1, but still has some of the compositional problems. There's not really enough in frame to keep my interest. An old tractor, or something interesting (in focus) in the foreground would make this a great shot.

3) I actually like this one. Flare is usually bad, but I've seen it used in creative ways, and this actually works. However, I'd clone that green blob of flare, on the base of the fountain out, personally.

4) Cool shot. There's all sorts of interesting lines and stuff in the shot. You have the diagonal contrails sort of framing the turbine from three sides. You have the other turbine in the background. Exposure might be a touch underexposed, but this monitor isn't calibrated, so I could be wrong. I'd maybe clone/crop our the thing in the bottom left corner. It's somewhat of a distraction and doesn't add anything to the shot.

Hope I could help a bit. Thanks for sharing!

@ D-B-J, lol Thanks.

@Gaerek, I really appreciate the thought out CC of all my shots. I pretty much agree with all your assessments. In #2, I wish there was some type of foreground object lol, but this field was just that, a wide open field. Nothing but wide open space. #3, I took your thoughts and edited out the green points (edit has replaced the original). There was actually 3 of them in the shot. #4, the actual turbine is underexposed. When I originally shot it, I was going for a silhouette, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted. I was going to dodge it up a bit, but it came out too fake looking.

except for the dark "forground" elements in #1 I like them. #2 has a little too much sky in it and is just a little less crisp than it could be? #3 us just strange enough to be cool! We have the same wond generators here in NorCal, they are HUGE!!

Love 2-4, hate number 1. In my opinion it's a tosser, the grass in the foreground is just really distracting and the rest of the picture isn't interesting enough to make up for it. Love #3, your lens flare picture, it's quite nice. Flare used appropriately can be so lovely! Good job!

i like 3 and 4, 2 doesnt do much for me and 1 i think would be really cool if you had a person stand in the grass about 15 yards away on either the left third or the right third

Jgooz, I actually have a shot of my wife in the field, I'll upload it tonight. Shadowing on her face was not the greatest though, time of day wasn't the best and we didn't have a choice on when we could go.

g-fi, hate is such a strong word lol.
