Looks like a nice deal considering the Nikon grip by itself it way more.

Not a bad kit. But I would try to find some reviews on the battery grip. Does it fit well, does it have a vertical shutter? Has anyone had problems with it? etc...

yeah thats the item thats my main concern, it does have the vertical shutter release, looks just like the Nikon, there are no reviews listed on B&H? and have not found any with google...I'll find something somewhere eventually. thought someone may have had hands on experience on the forum.
