I think the third is by far the best.
The musicians are sharp in the center and everything around them converging is terrific.
I think it wouldn't be nearly as good if those few people in the first row weren't partially lit.
They give some personhood to the audience.

I guess i wasn't sure about the split tone for processing on the top photo. is it too much magenta?

RE: split tone processing...it almost always looks "strong". Is it too much magenta? Maybe, maybe not. I kind of like some of the other split tone colors,like that odd sepia/cold tone look, or the greenish/blue look, but how people view split toned images seems to vary from person to person. Just wanted to say again, iut's great seeing you back on TPF. I really,really was glad to see your rainy day San Fran shot nominated for a Picture of The Month spot!
