Trent and Echo got married in the Dominican in November and just had their at home reception. They didnt want any photos of just the two of them, but I managed to squeeze in a walk around the hotel between the family shots and the reception and snuck in 15 mins with this stunner :)

I don't often do reception coverage, so I felt like this was going to be a hard day being indoors for 90% of the time.

C&C is appreciated.

5 - This was the reaction when I told the bride about the women who crashed her wedding, as seen dancing in the background ;)

I think these are pretty terrific with #4 being my favorite.

Perhaps a little more saturation on the couple in #2 might look nice but still a sweet shot.

Have you considered, taking out the ceiling lights and faking in a bouquet on #6?

I love seeing highlights of the whole wedding. These are very good Krystal...I want to see more =)

I was going to say their house is really big LOL. Nice job.

Yes. Yes. All very nice.

Sorry... I have no critique to offer. You've handled the exposure and color very well in a variety of situations.

Good goin'.

My only nitpick is get rid of the vignette on 5. Otherwise, great shots and great lighting.

Regards,
Jake

Thanks for the responses everyone. They were such a fun group of people, and they are quite well connected in the area as well, so I was really feeling the pressure. I think they will be happy :)

The Traveler - thanks you for the comments. I wont be adding in a bouquet - I think that NOT being able to see it is almost better! Kind of like a how high did she throw it? feeling. In the full series there are lots of shots with it.

Cheers

I love the photo with the gatecrashers dancing in the background - I would have cloned out the light just above her head but that is just me being picky - I think these are great and you have really captured some wonderful moments

Ya these are really good! I would consider doin a lil different crop like on 2 and five. You're cutting off hubby's arm in a weird spot, I might have cropped right at their waist and got his hand holding her and put just a little less space above their heads. Five would be harder because of the moment and your limited window in composing the shot but the girl on viewers left loses some of her hand and bride's elbow and fingers.
