As to the name of this lake I hope I remember it right? It's the Victoria way, on the way to Houston (?) - my, that was 6 1/2 years ago...

But since I went through the album to look up the pics for LittleMan (he lives in the New Braunfels/Gruene area), I found these and thought I might want to show you, too:

That last one is great. With a little work to bring out more contrast in the storm clouds...it could be stunning.

I've been there too.... haha... My family and I like to go camping and we get around Texas quite a bit...

LaFoto - those are fabulous - I like all of them! I am sure they are even better in person. The last one has instance appeal, but I am partial to the top one, there is a lot of subtle texture and detail there
