B/W Conversion

I've only done a handfull of b/w conversions. I know what I like to see, but I don't know what it should look like? I tried to keep an overall peaceful feel to the picture. I thought the main feature was the reflection in the water. The original picture didn't have much to offer. I was trying to make something nice from an otherwise dull photo?

Is there anything I should change as far as the shadows, contrast or highlights? It's a pretty blah picture to start with.

Classic shot! I would kick in some highlights in the conversion. Maybe even open the midtones.

I like it just how you did it!
You could boost the highlights like ^he said^ but I personally like the quiter tones for this picture.
