It was an overgrown mess is what it was. It had to be tight, no way around it.

It looked to me, like the approaches to the subject were limited. Tight crop works here for me, no problem, it is a detail of ,I suppose, cemetery. The thing for me is, that the angel face is so close to the edge and facing outward, but with tighter crop we wouldn't know it is an angel.
Otherwise good work in harsh light conditions.
