Baby April

This is Miss April, my sweet soon to be adopted niece. I think her story needs to be told. She was left with my niece by her father, a young man who had went to school with my niece. April was only suppose to be left over night. The parents never came back for her.

She was 7 weeks old and weighed around 7 pounds. She cried so much and had sever problem keeping food down. April had been left with so many people, and her parents would leave her with anyone. Her mother said, she did not want April. This baby went through more abuse in 7 weeks than most people in their life time.

Her parents have called less than 5 times to check on her, and have cancelled all visiting arrangement.

Now, April is a healthy and happy 8 month old. She does have some physical delays due to being left for long hours in a car carrier. Therapy is helping to strengthen her muscles, and a lot of love makes her happy.
