I rarely use 1.8 even though my lens is capable of it. At f4 I still get sharp images with great bokeh, as long is the subject is a few feet from the background.

A good photo with good bokeh is not a matter of aperture.. it is a product of skill and knowledge!

yeah ummmm lights plus babys mouth makes for a SCARY sigght!(almost as scary as cgipson1 spiders =/)

I think the first photo is great. Yes, it may be oof but its the moment captured that counts sometimes

And yes, as a mother the first thing I thought when I saw the other two was "get those lights out of that babies mouth!!!". Even unplugged, they aren't safe materials for kids to be sucking on.
