Backdrops that you like to use?

I have a muslin backdrop how the heck do you keep the wrinkles out of it!

Steamer, iron, clamps or tape to stretch it.

Yea thats what I was thinking! Kinda stinks b/c everytime you fold it it will re wrinkle lol

Folding them lengthwise only and then carefully rolling them up instead of folding both ways can help.

Does anyone use those poly-paper backdrops? I saw a site that offered some whimsical backdrops for photographing children.

I bought white and black 10x20 muslin backdrops and am running into the wrinkle issue as well. Not so much on the black one, but the white can be difficult. I saw a white vinyl backdrop online somewhere for like $35, in hindsight I should have bought that instead of the muslin. I'll probably end up getting it anyway.

I just smash the muslin backdrops in a bag.. and try to get the background very wrinkly with small wrinkles. Then use DOF to blur the background a bit, and you can't even see the wrinkles... works great!
