I would love to hear what others think of these. The light was so soft and pleasing I had to shoot something. The "Y" tree as we call it is a Dogwood, the other is a Cedar of some kind.

I really like #1, but I think it could be even nicer with a bit of the sky removed; say about half?

Thanks! I agree with the sky. I did address that in another edit.

I agree with Tirediron. I would also have removed that belt or strap around the larger tree in the first and third images. I find that my eyes go right to it and I am guessing that is not what you wanted.

I agree! That is a hammock strap. I love photographing this area when the hammock is up. I just took it down a couple weeks ago to protect it from the weather.
