Backyard shoot

I decided to try my new Tamron lens out and had my 1 yr old son and wife pose for some pics. Needless to say, my son stole the show... I'm still trying to get the hang of "people" shots as I'm not where I want to be so all C&C is greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

These are really good! What great expressions and warm smiles. Fantastic job on focus, color, and processing. You definitely have a good eye for portraiture.

The only think I would suggest is to look for good lighting opportunities outdoors, and make sure the light gives dimension and curvature to their faces.

Great looking subjects you have there. Keep going! :thumbup:

Thanks for the compliments sweetsomedays and MJMAN. I tried to get these in a shaded area and then use a fill flash. I'll keep your suggestion in mind and be sure to look for some good light the next time I have an opportunity to take some people pics.
