Ballet school class

When I was out photographing the littlest dancers in the ballet school down the road (see here and here and here ), the teacher asked me if my time also allowed me to stay on for her already somewhat more advanced dancers (7-10 year old) and I said ok.

So here are some photos from that session:

This last one is the original to the photo that go published on the school leaflet (here ).

And none of these are posed for me, they were all taken while the class was on, and the last few while they were dancing diagonally through the room, so none of these could have been repeated in the self-same manner even a fraction of a second later.

What an enjoyable thread. You can really see how they are concentrating on their form, and they don't seem at all self-conscious in front of the camera. The first and last shots especially are my favourites. Thanks for sharing.
