Bamboo Tablets for photo editing

I have been looking into the Bamboo Tablets by Wacom (Capture or Create) and was hoping to get some input. I like the added control that they offer and think it would be a nice addition to my editing. Has anyone used them and can you give me some input as to ease of use and reliability. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use an old Graphire2, the amount of control you get from a tablet, even an inexpensive one like the Bamboo or my old Graphire, is well worth the money and really takes selective adjustments to another level.

For me the Bamboo pen tablets were to small for fine control. I used a Wacom Intuos 4 Medium for a couple of years before I upgraded to a Cintique.

Wacom makes great products and is the industry standard for pen tablets.

It got to the point I used the pen and tablet for all my net surfing, and hardly ever used a mouse.

just picked up a bamboo connect a couple weeks ago actually and like it alot. i wanted an intuos but was too much money for casual use. really happy with it

i just have a basic wacom pen and i think it works great for me. i mostly do sketches with it but i do some photo editing with it as well. recommended.
