Band Shot

Did a shoot for a band called Aesthetic Perfection.
The album comes out in December in Germany
and February in the US.
It is Industrial/EBM (Electronic Body Music)

the dust and scratches were done purposely to give it a dirty feel.

I would crop a bit the right hand, but I like the shot anyway.

I agree with magali about the right crop, maybe "stamp" the apple out, IMO a bit distracting. (or darken it).

I think you are missing the point that the picture is trying to convey. The scratches and sepia tone are trying to give the picture an older look, which is what the old apple computer adds. As well it makes sense to have it there considering the kind of music the band plays. If anything I would say that it is cropped to tight vertically. I'd say maybe zoom it out a bit and shift the image down. That way the subjects head is in the center. I prefer either doing that or using thirds, but just below the center throws things off for me. The overexposure from the window I think works well, but I would have used a neutral density filter to keep a bit more detail in the darker areas of the image. You might be able to fix that up in photoshop though. Anyhow, good pic, I like it.

but what exactly is Electronic Body Music.... ? just electronic music/techo stuff?? :?

as far as Electronic Body Music...
it started off in the 80's when Industrial and Synth mixed.
A band called Front 242 started it.
