I always check my WB first, maybe add some contrast, add sharpening (+25 maybe), and look at your histogram to see where you are at exposure wise. Crop to even out, rule of thirds, or to straighten. The rest is up to you.

The fourth one looks underexposed. Plus what Kathy said.

Thanks I'll try that.

Lightroom's Develop module is laid out with the tools and panels in the order Adobe recommends they be used. Sliders in the panels are also organized in a recommended order of use.

Lightroom is complex enough that to use it effectively, it's a good idea to get some training about what each feature, tool, panel, etc does.

To start that process, open Lightroom, and then press your keyboard F1 key to access Adobe Community Help which is in effect the Lightroom users manual and a gateway to other Adobe Lightroom learning resources.

Lightroom also has a batch function so that images shot with the same lighting can be 'synced' such that they all have the same exposure value, white balance, and other editing etc.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 * Apply Develop adjustments to other photos

You can get much more complete information from this inexpensive book - Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers

wb adjusted.. +6/-3
exposure + 1.00
fill light +14
contrast +10
clarity +17
vibrance +33
saturation +5 on green
sharpening +21

Lightroom 4 by default uses Process Version 2012 (PV2012) - and doesn't have a Fill Light slider. Also the Contrast slider algorithm was changed so +17 in LR 1, 2, 3 is not the same as +17 in LR 4.
However, if you open the LR 4 Camera Calibration panel, at the top right of the panel you can change LR 4 to PV2010 - used by LR 3 - which changes the Basic panel sliders (and algorithms) in LR 4 to those used in PV2010.
