Basic question about image upload to forum

[brdy]

New here ...dont know if this is correct place to ask this but :
How do you guys upload an image to the forum. I have some images that I put on to my Flickr site but when I enter the URL for image in the 'Post New Thread ' editor it dosnt seem to find it. Is there a problem or tick to accessing Flickr images
