Be a successful artist

Someone seriously needs to fix his audio recording!

I had enough after "no more starving artist plan".

the audio does clean up not too much later in the interview (if its really that painful you can skip sections ;))

Sweet. I got to find a way to get this onto my computer so I can study it a bit more.

I was listening to a radio show about a documentary filmmaker's film project, which was on "how to be a filmmaker". The film's creator was the son of a major Hollywood director. For years and years, his father had told him, "Even the simplest film projects demand a separate sound man who knows what he's doing!" For literally decades, the old Hollywood director have raved to his son about how essential a dedicated sound man was. So...fast forward 30 years and here they are, the father is in his dotage...the son is in his late 50's...he travels to see his elderly father and to interview and film the old man.

Well...as he put it, "the sound cut out about three minutes in,and I didn't know that at the time, so the majority of the hour is silent footage." (from This American Life, on NPR)

Well, I hope you are going to tell us who this genius is/was... :)

I feel like I'm listening to Paul Harvey or something.

I cannot recall who the guy was!!! If I could it'd be fantastic!
