what a great shot! the detail is wonderful... love the sparkle in the eye..and the white feathers fluffed along the blue of his wings is just super! he must have known you were taking his pic and he prissed up for you.....

No, Snow on ground in background. Getting right exposure around snow
can be very difficult. I got lucky.
