Bear the cat is lucky to be alive!

I have one who tries to cuddle anything left out and one who thinks that if he can move it, it's a toy. He'll literally throw things across the room. My animals have damaged more than my 3 year old ever dreamed of. He's actually quite gentle with camera equipment (because if he's nice, he gets to use the old one).

Cats will be cats. My outdoor group think that my flower garden is there for their comfort and make beds out of my plants, so stuff is always flattened. Indoors, I guess I'm lucky, as the only thing they like to bat are pens left unattended. If I forget and leave my desk drawer open even the slightest crack, Sassy, who lives up to her name I might add, reaches in and pulls everything out onto the desk and floor.

I use a "rattle can" anytime one of mine even looks like she's getting on the table; they hear that noise and run for the closet! The rattle can is a metal bulk film canister loaded with about 10-15 pennies.
