Bells Rapids?

We took a drive to what is known as "Bells Rapids" which are located just on the outskirts of the city. Unfortunately due to our lack of rainfall so far it's more like "Bells Rocks".

Interesting rock formations when dry. Is the color from minerals?

Interesting, colorful but yet kind of sad. I bet you would see some pretty good rapids with a lot of water flowing over all those jagged rocks. When you get the water back you should take some pics for comparison.

I think so? I tried to do a google search to see what caused the colours but no luck.
