For me this has been an arduous task, to finally capture a few decent shots of a Belted Kingfisher. Definitely worth the effort.

Good job! I can't get within 30 yards of one without it flying away so I understand the frustration of trying to capture one. I only get so-so pics of them on telephone wires. (Don't like telephone wire pics)

Very good captures. These guys have really good eyesight and are very skittish on top of that. I like the detail in #1.
