My wife and I really need to make some videos. Our first child is going to arrive soon, and we have not done much in the way of videography. I would like our son to see and hear us as we are now.
We have a Saramonic Blinkme wireless microphone set. We got it in Hong Kong. People said DJI was better, but it was not possible to get the DJI product at that time.
The Saramonic set seems to be very cleverly designed, and it certainly works, but the microphones are always held on with magnets. There is no way to fasten them with clips. They fall off over and over. Also, Saramonic has, basically, no customer support. They promise to supply things, but they don't follow through. If you lose a part, you're done. On top of this, the magnet in the Saramonic receiver screws up camera monitor screens, so you have to put a little riser on it to put distance between it and your camera.
Is there something comparable that we should consider? We would like something that will not fall off when we walk. Let's say the budget is $350.
It has to be from an established company that supplies parts. I will not buy another set from a startup that works out of a garage in Shenzhen.
