Best Camera?

Hello. . I'm new to this forum and also to photography. I have a digital camera but have saved up to get a DSLR. I have around 500 dollars and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good lens + camera for around that amount all together. I'm in graphic media, so we are going to be taking pictures of many things, not just one field. Thank you so much for your help.

I would recommend the d7000 with the kit lens to start off (due to your budget) but its hard to find a d7000 for that cheap, I was fortunate enough, so the next best thing is the d90.
