I know, it's boring, but I've been trying to sharpen my shots at the moon.

It does look very good, well done!

wow that's big, thought about adding a small amount of warm photo filter? What lens are you using if you don't mind me asking

looks pretty great, loving the craters

Looks pretty amazing to me. Loving the texture of the craters. I do agree though, maybe you should try a warm filter...

nice shot. what lens and body did u use? mind sharing the exif too pls? looks quite bright to me and perhaps need to increase shutter speed or lower the aperture

PP-ed this in cs4. minor adjustments to the the highlight/midtone contrast

The moon picture looks great to me, makes me want to grab my tripod and give it a try. Nice details on the craters!

Ishafizan, thanks for the edit, it looks much better.

wow ... interesting settings.

i'd try the following:
aperture: F11.0. could try f16, but we dont want diffraction issues
xposure/shutter: start from 1/250 .... ADJUST this for brightness. faster ->darken, slower -> brighten
ISO: 100. keep the noise under control

if u're using canon lens/body: IS off, mirror-lock enabled, use timer/remote

hope to see the results soon!
:)

Was that taken with naked camera or through a telescope? If naked, you've captured the craters brilliantly! Bravo.

Naked camera and Tamron 70-300mm lens.
