Best place to have films developed

I live in Carshalton, Surrey here in the UK and I need help on finding the best labs for my 35mm color and black&white films.
I use to go to jessops, but i cant seem to get my pictures done the way i want it, they even gave me wrong advice which caused a lot of delay on my slides :thumbdown: . please help me find a good photo lab in my area :hail: .

Check prices with different SnappySnaps branches before going to your local one - some are apparently very good value (I understand Rob has had positive experiences with SnappySnaps) while some will rip you off. Definitely ask about their services before handing your films in - my nearest branch is taking a whole week to process my black and white film, which is odd when you consider most SnappySnaps branches offer no longer than 48-hour service.

Thanks for the replies, im actually looking for a professional kind of lab, id like to have my pictures developed the way i want it. I think these labs (suppa snaps, snappy snaps, klick etc..) tend to rush processing and are more focused on quantity than quality. Im in the Carshalton/Sutton area here in surrey uk, so if anyone knows a good lab in the area please help.

If you want more control over how the films are developed, doing it yourself is the best way to be sure. If you don't already have a tank, reel, developer and fixer these are easy and relatively cheap to obtain and you can do it at the kitchen sink. Otherwise you're looking at posting your films somewhere and spending lots of money.
