Reason I don't watch tv, that and sitting in front of a tv is boring anyways. T.V. in U.S. is ruled by childish adults, for the most part.

Men here are not MEN. Very few of us are. Women here are really a ball of issues, and to me could take some hints from Euro women. I think it's a mad circle, really. Women have more issues than a magazine warehouse, and partly because men here are 30-40 yr olds who act 14.

Me being in a typically sh*tty mood doesn't help, either.

oh yes, i've heard of that. Never actually seen a whole episode, just snippets.

As for American comedy, yes a lot of it is crude, unsophisticated and childish, but by the same token I also think America has also given us some (if not most) of the best, cutting edge and intelligent comedy.

Off the top of my head, some of the better US stuff and comedians IMHO...
