Best Tabletop Tripod for Light Box (limited room)

What other lens do you suggest? I really don't have the money to drop on an expensive one. It'd have to be under $150

I apparently missed the part about wanting the tripod to be able to go almost flush to the table. just for full disclosure the table top tripod I have will NOT go that low. The handle that holds the legs is about 10 inches, so that will be close to your minimum hight above the working surface.

To get that low, you will have to go with a gorilla pod or a tripod that has legs that extend out enough to lower the base to the ground.

I will still post some pics when I get home (if I can find it) and you can decide from there.

Not an odd angle but here is my most recent product pic. I take some weird angles, but I always do it by hand. I used a 35mm before for my 2x2 light box. It's was a pita.

I bought a 60mm 2.8d macro for 170 not too long ago. See if you can find one of those.

The Gorilla looks cool but I've read if you don't keep the legs straight, the camera starts to sag.

That thing is wicked but it doesn't include the ball head . I was hoping to keep it around $50-75 for a complete package.

What kind do you recommend? I don't shoot any movies or anything like that so I don't need ultra high speed. I just want high storage capacity.

With the price drop on the SanDisk Extreme Pro, I'd suggest that myself. Or whatever SanDisk model that has a write speed at/above the max of your D7000. I think it's 30 MB/sec, so I'd look at the Extreme model line.
