Great photograph, better title. Get it? I kill me. Anywho, I like the contrast but a polarizer might have worked with the sky better.

I mean it about the title though. I reminds us of how life was better, but that's gone now. Or maybe what we think of as better really wasn't. Any way you look at it, the title and photograph together sparks thought.
