Wipped out my new 70-200 2.8 and went to a friends house to test it out.
This is the second time I've done shots of horses and I'm very happy with them. Especially the ones of Ustinov
I'm all ears of ways of improving them so let me have it.

Nice! 2 is the stand out shot to me. I think I'd like to see a wee bit more space for the horse to run into, but still very nice

On number 1 I don't like how the top of the tree is cut off but that could just be a personal thing. Number 5 is my favorite.

beautiful shots!

Beautiful shots. Beautiful horses.

Thanks everyone!
I wasn't to sure how much room I should have cropped them but apart from some centring that's pretty much how I shot them.
I have many more I could share but I didn't want to flood the thread to much.

Very good! The first one has competing elements in the background. Not a fan of the last one.

gorgeous animals, great models

you should try and shoot much later or earlier in the day so that the overhead sun doesn't bleach out the grass, etc.

Instead of posting a bunch, pick out your best two or three.
That will concentrate comments.

Minimize obvious vignetting.and give them some room.

Thanks for the tips. Next time I'll shoot looser.
I don't understand what you're talking about the obvious vignetting? I vignetted #8 on purpose but the rest don't really have any at all???

Sorry, I always assume that what I'm thinking flashes on my forehead in big letters, I meant the vignette on #8

Thank you guys :)
