Has anyone bought from BigValueInc before? I see the D7100 they are offering states it could be an imported model and that the warranty would be through them. I'd read the Return Policy, and the Negative feedback to see what problems buyers have had with the seller. If the listing seems to use generic wikia info. it always makes me wonder if the seller knows much about cameras.

Hi joseph - I would have no problem buying from or recommending bigvalue, but only when they're selling items intended for the US market, with OEM factory warranties.

Import or "grey market" items can be a nightmare to get serviced through the retailer if anything goes wrong. I try my best not to recommend them (if I can determine that they are grey market) and as a buyer I would avoid them.

Sadly, the lowest eBay prices I could find for a new USA model D7100 was $1096.95 from cameta and berger bros (pretty much the same price as Amazon and Adorama).

That said, you can get a factory refurb with a 90 day warranty for $949.95 from Adorama, or $918 from National Camera Exchange via eBay.

Those ratings aren't too surprising from the quick look I took at their info. on ebay.

I say them too as they have a great price on a refurb'd d600, except reading the details it ways that "the product may be an import"
