Here's a picture I took at the Raptor Center here at my college.

You're lucky to be having a raptor center at your college! That should give you ample chance to further hone your photo compositional skills.

This photo still seems to be lacking somewhat in that area, it is poorly composed with the bird's eye in the VERY centre of your frame, loads of room above his head, but his tail and feet cropped off at the bottom. Plus it is underexposed and could do very well with more light (more exposure).

With such lovely, lovely creatures so close to you, you will have a change to reshoot, I am sure. Next will be better!

Thanks for your help. I'm new to the DSLR world, still learning how to do everything. But I'll definately head back over there at some point and take some more.
