Birds in the snow

Spent a few hours in the snow. I had a blast testing the 2x tc on the 300 F4. I was surprised how sharp some of the shots came out. Some of these are the 1.4x also.. There is more on my flickr page didn't want to load up this thread...

I really like the Cardinal and the Red bellied woodpecker. I like photos where you can see the iris of the birds eye.

I would have to say that #2 is my favorite. I love the angle of the bird, how you got him turning his head to the side. It really brings out his features.
Very crisp. Great shots!
