The wife had me to a shoot this weekend for our son's first birthday party invitation pics. The party is monkey themed, hence the prop.

Here's the lighting setup for anyone who might be interested.

I feathered the light from the softboxes on the sides to really blast the white background. The beauty dish is what did all of the subject lighting for the most part with the softboxes filling from the sides.

Yup, I noticed that too. It was a chore trying to get a good shot with him. He fell off the bench twice, I had to quickly jump forward and catch his little head. He can't really sit on it without help, and he was moving all over the place.

I was also going to mention the monkeys fingers, however I also know how hard it is to get a photo of a child sitting still because of my job hahah.
