i like them both, honestly. haha. the first one shows off her eyes really well but the second one gives it that timeless quality.

Those eyes are an incredible color, so it has to be the color. You could desaturate the background a little so it doesn't compete.

Color for sure!

To me the B&W one doesnt have enough contrast to be intriguing. It seems all mid range, monotone.

The color one, 'cause the eyes are really beautiful.
Maybe B&W could work, but not as it is. Everything is around "middle grey". You need a lot more contrast.

By the way, the shot is either out of focus or blurry

desaturate the color and if you are using lightroom, use the adjustment brush to heighten the eyes. the B&W is pretty flat. seems like an almost just one click regular monotone conversion.
