Black and White sports project

I've been working on this project for a couple of years now adding different sports to the files, have about 100 images now, all shot during competition, with very little post work done other than the switch to black and white.

These were all shot with a Canon Mkll 300 2.8. Shutter speeds between 250th-1250th, all at 2.8 and iso between 1000-1250.

Quality of re-size images on here isn't that great, but you get the idea.

I like the last two diving shots. It's sometimes odd to see the strange, bizarre expressions that athletes' faces are contorted into; it seems that only still photos capture and allow us to see those odd expressions...the video we see of televised events doesn't normally allow us to examine those skinny little 1/1000 second glimpses.
