Black spec only visible in the eye viewer

Hey guys
i was shooting yesterday and i notice a black mark i thought it was on the lens but it wasn't then i checked the live view and saw that it was only visible when looking into the eye view.

Im worried something might've cracked in there. Any suggestions? It doesn't appear when i take photos which is great but still id like to know what this black mark is that i can only see when looking through the eye piece (sorry i don't know the proper name for the part)

Could be a mark on the ground glass, or dust/object on the pentaprism.

Take the lens off and take a good look to see what surface it is on.

Most likely on the mirror or the bottom of the viewing screen. Use a blower bulb (NOT a can of compressed air) and blow it out.

Oh thanks i removed the lens and gave it a light blow and it got rid of the particle.

Thanks. Touching this kinda stuff scares me.

Avoiding touching things in there is normally the best philosophy unless it's absolutely necessary. Most things aren't as delicate as most people think, but as soon as you think you won't hurt anything it gets expensive. A blower bulb is nearly always your best bet if it will do the job.
