First, welcome to the site.

Very nice first post.
If you do a lot of B&W you might consider posting them in the B&W sub-forum.
(perhaps one of the mods will move this)

Very nice composition but I think the tones looks a bit unbalanced
I think the front hand is too bright and the back hand too contrasty (and missing middle tones) and that throws the balance off.
